- Descripción:
El proyecto desarrollado consta de hotel, spá y restaurante, incluyendo también una vivienda para el gerente en edificación aislada pero vinculada al resto de la composición.
La actuación se implanta en la Huerta, en una zona de arrozales limítrofe con el núcleo urbano de Sollana y muy próxima al Parque Natural de la Albufera, por lo que la relación con el entorno, la orientación y las vistas del magnífico paisaje son condicionantes fundamentales.
Tomando como valores de partida la sencillez y racionalidad compositiva, la claridad funcional y la sinceridad constructiva, el proyecto tiene como objetivo principal la búsqueda de un diálogo integrador entre la arquitectura y el medio natural que la rodea. Esto se consigue dotando a la edificación de una morfología de desarrollo horizontal y volúmenes puros, y haciendo una minuciosa selección de los materiales, que se reduce al empleo de hormigón, vidrio, cobre y madera.
El edificio se materializa mediante la disposición de una base de hormigón visto de la que emerge una caja de vidrio y cobre que forma el cuerpo principal de habitaciones, insinuando la idea de pieza metálica sobre basamento pétreo. Tanto en la fachada Norte como en la Sur, la chapa de cobre, también presente como revestimiento del salón de actos, forma franjas verticales a modo de paneles opacos que rompen la uniformidad de ambas fachadas.
Otros elementos relevantes en las fachadas son los sistemas para el control del soleamiento. En la fachada Sur se montan unos paneles correderos de madera con lamas horizontales que por su gran movilidad, dan mucho dinamismo a esta fachada. Mientras que en los frentes Este y Oeste, se disponen lamas prefabricadas verticales fijas de hormigón.
En el interior de los espacios diáfanos proyectados, madera, hormigón y vidrio se combinan ofreciendo elegancia y sofisticación pero sin perder calidez, siendo clave el papel de los grandes acristalamientos, que permiten hacer dichos espacios interiores extensibles al exterior, ofreciendo unas vistas sobre la huerta inmejorables.

- Description:
The developed project consists of hotel, spa and restaurant, including a house for the manager in building isolated but linked to the rest of the composition.
The performance is implanted in the Huerta, in an area of rice fields bordering the urban center of Sollana and very close to the Natural Park of La Albufera, so that the relationship with the environment, the orientation and the views of the magnificent landscape are fundamental factors.
Taking as starting values simplicity and compositional rationality, functional clarity and constructive sincerity, project has as main objective the pursuit of an integrator dialogue between the architecture and the natural environment that surrounds it. This is achieved by providing to the building up of a morphology of horizontal development and pure volumes, and doing a thorough selection of materials, which boils down to the use of concrete, glass, copper and wood.
The building is materialized through the provision of a base of concrete from which emerges a box of glass and copper forming the main body of rooms, suggesting the idea of a piece of metal on stone basement. In North and South facades, the copper sheet, also present as lining of the assembly room, forms vertical and opaque stripes that break the uniformity of both fronts.
Other important elements on the facades are systems for the control of the sunlight. On the South facade sliding wood panels are mounted with horizontal slats that by its great mobility, give very much dynamism to this facade. While in the Eastern and Western fronts, there are vertical, fixed and prefabricated slats in concrete.
Inside of projected diaphanous spaces, wood, concrete and glass offer an elegant and sophisticated combination, but without losing warmth. These interior spaces are extensible to the outside by the large existing glazing, which allow unbeatable views of the Huerta.
