VIVIENDA VIGAS DE MADERA

Este pequeño apartamento objeto de reforma, se emplaza en el entresuelo de un precioso edificio de estilo ecléctico del centro histórico de Valencia construido a finales del s. XIX. El citado edificio fue rehabilitado íntegramente por LLIBERÓS SALVADOR Arquitectos a finales de los años noventa, destacando la restauración de la fachada y del zaguán de acceso. Además de la presente vivienda también se han reformado las viviendas de las plantas primera, segunda y tercera.
Inicialmente el apartamento fue la vivienda del portero de la finca, pero llevaba más de 50 años vacío, sin uso y en estado ruinoso.
El objeto de la presente actuación consistía básicamente en descompartimentar la vivienda generando un único espacio principal de salón-comedor-cocina, eliminando uno de los tres dormitorios iniciales para ampliar dicho espacio y permitirle recibir luz y aire de la calle exterior. De esta manera la vivienda es totalmente exterior, contando también con un patio comunitario que permite obtener una saludable ventilación cruzada. También se eliminó el recubrimiento de varios machones de ladrillo macizo presentes en las paredes, así como el falso techo de escayola y cañizo que reducía ostensiblemente la altura libre del apartamento, dejando al descubierto las vigas de madera que fueron tratadas, y los revoltones de entrevigado, ofreciendo así una imagen más rústica y acogedora.
En la vivienda también destacan varios muebles hechos a medida, como son el de soporte del televisor o la mesa de madera de pino que ha sido modificada lacando en blanco su superficie superior, de manera que junto con las sillas de diseño tipo Eames, todo el mobiliario combina con la cocina de armariada blanca y bancada de madera.
Otro elemento destacado y que aporta un gran toque de personalidad en el interiorismo de la vivienda es el mosaico pintado sobre una de las paredes del espacio principal, diseñado y ejecutado por LLIBERÓS SALVADOR Arquitectos.

This small apartment, object of reform, is located on the mezzanine floor of a beautiful building of eclectic style in the historic center of Valencia, built at the end of century XIX. This building was completely rehabilitated by LLIBERÓS SALVADOR Architects at the end of the nineties, highlighting the restoration of the façade and the entrance hall. In addition to the present housing, the homes of the first, second and third floors have also been renovated.
Initially the apartment was the housing of the doorman of the building, but it was taken more than 50 years empty, without use and in a ruinous state.
The object of the present action was basically reduce partitioning of the flat, creating a single main space lounge/dining/kitchen, eliminating one of the three initial bedrooms to enlarge this space allowing to receive light and air of the street outside. In this way, the apartment is fully outside, with a community courtyard that allows it to get a healthy cross ventilation. It was also eliminated the lining of several pillars of solid brick, present in the walls, and the false ceilings of hurdle and plaster that reduced the free height of apartment ostensibly , leaving exposed the wooden beams, that were treated, and the vaults between beams, offering this way a more rustic and cozy image.
In the house several custom furnishings stand out, such as the support of the TV or the pine table that has been modified with a white lacquering on its upper surface, so that together with Eames chairs type design, all the furniture combined with white kitchen with wooden bench.
Another feature that adds a great touch of personality in the interior of the house is the mosaic painted on one wall of the main space, designed and executed by LLIBEROS SALVADOR Architects.
